On March 28th, 2026 Paws for Portraits took to the parking lot of Petsmart in Warner Robins, GA to donated her services to photograph the adopted pets from the Pawesome Southern Rescue.
This was a three day adoption event that is held every so often with Pawesome and other local shelters like Warner Robins Animal Control, Peach County Animal Control, and Georgia Canine rescue and rehabilitation.
Our goal was to give something special to adopters to look back and remember fondly. Personally when I look back at my cell phone adoption photos I get a warm feeling in my heart. I seem to always have a big smile as I look at those memories because I remember all the special feelings of joy and excitement I felt in that exact moment.
My goal was to be able to capture those special feelings through photography, and I hope all the adopters were able to feel the same emotions I feel when I look at my images to this day. (:
